Are you looking for a band 7?

If you have poor writing skills it is highly unlikely you will get a band 7 after one months practice.

IELTS is basically an exam to test your English. Nobody can usually have a sudden and dramatic improvement in their language skills (when learning any language), especially writing which is difficult, in only one month.

Start by checking out the IELTS writing lessons so you understand what exactly is required in the IELTS test but it takes time and patience to learn any language and English is no different.

How can I get from IELTS 5.5 to 7 in two weeks?

hi i need 7 in score but last time i had L5.5 W5.5 R 5.5 S 6.5.I am very upset about my result.and i have only two weeks away to attend the test again.please help me how can i improve within a short time.

Hi Shamin,

It's very unrealistic to think you can go from 5.5 to 7 in two weeks if you are scoring low due to grammar issues.

It takes a long time, practice and maybe tutoring to fix this.

As you have most your scores around the 5.5 range it suggests that you are at this level (except for your speaking which is obviously better).

Higher Band in a Short Duration

I am new to IELTS and I am preparing for the test. In last 5 days of coaching I came across many ideas for getting my English improved however I am planing for the exam in very less time of preparations.

May be less than a month of coaching. I am in search of few quick strategies to get higher bands in short duration.

Hi,

If you have less than one month then that is really not enough time to actually improve your English much.

But if your English is ok you may be able to boost your score by getting to understand the test and some strategies and tips.

There really are too any strategies and tips to explain in one forum post though.
